Dr. Lin has research experience in integrated photonics, applied chemistry, and material physics, with his expertise in chip-scale optical sensors and mid-Infrared technologies. He has initiated and participated with multidisciplinary collaborated projects and demonstrated label-free and real-time chemical sensors that enable remote and in-situ gas & fuel monitoring.
Dr. Lin is a faculty in Departments of Electrical & Computer Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering at TAMU. He obtained his PhD from Northwestern University, and then Joined MIT as a postdoctoral researcher. He has thirty peer reviewed articles, and serves on numerous editorial boards and conference committees, including Scientific Reports and IEEE Nano.
